Privacy Policy
Last updated September 3, 2026
This policy explains what information eyriehouse.com collects, why, and who it goes to. The Eyrie House is a privately owned home at McLemore on Lookout Mountain, Georgia, in the resort’s Stay & Play program. This site is operated by the homeowner.
Information you give us
The only place this site asks for personal information is the availability and inquiry form. That form collects:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you provide one
- The dates and group size you are asking about
- Anything you write in the message field
We use it for one purpose: to answer your inquiry and help you book a stay. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing list without your asking.
Who receives it
Because the home is in McLemore’s Stay & Play program, booking and guest support are handled by the resort team. Every inquiry submitted through this site is delivered to both:
- The Eyrie House homeowner, at stay@eyriehouse.com
- The McLemore Stay & Play team, so they can confirm availability, quote rates, and add golf
Form delivery is handled by Formspree, which processes and forwards the submission on our behalf. McLemore’s own handling of your information is governed by the resort’s policies, not this one.
Information collected automatically
Advertising and measurement
This site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms that tells us when a visit or an inquiry followed one of our Facebook or Instagram ads. It sets cookies and reports events such as page views and completed inquiries back to Meta. We see aggregate results — how many people responded to an ad. We do not receive a list of who you are from Meta.
You can control how Meta uses your activity for advertising in Meta’s ad preferences, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser. Meta’s handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
Hosting and embedded content
- The site is hosted by Vercel, which logs standard request data such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.
- Fonts load from Fontshare.
- The walkthrough video is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, which limits tracking unless you press play. Once you do, Google’s privacy policy applies to that playback.
This site does not use analytics beyond the above, and it does not run a cookie consent banner because it sets no cookies of its own.
Do Not Track: this site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, as there is no agreed standard for honoring them.
How long we keep it
Inquiry emails are kept as long as needed to answer you and, if you book, for the ordinary business and tax records of the stay. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
Your choices
Write to stay@eyriehouse.com and we will, within a reasonable time:
- Tell you what inquiry information we hold about you
- Correct it
- Delete it, unless we are required to keep it
- Stop contacting you
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We honor those requests through the same address. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the pixel activity described above.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Guests under 18 are welcome at the home as part of a booking made by an adult.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
